A Foundation Built
For Tanzania's People
ECOWEF is a community development organisation working across health, education, empowerment, livelihoods, inclusion, and the environment - because communities need all of these to truly thrive.
We are ECOWEF
EcoWell Future Foundation (ECOWEF) is a non-governmental organization founded and established in 2025 to address critical social, environmental, educational, and economic challenges affecting communities across Tanzania. The organization was established by a group of committed individuals who recognized the need for sustainable and inclusive solutions that improve people's quality of life while protecting the environment for future generations.
ECOWEF was officially registered in 2026 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act No. 24 of 2002 and operates nationally throughout Tanzania. The organization is headquartered in Mjimwema Ward, Njombe Region, Tanzania, and is committed to promoting sustainable development, community empowerment, environmental conservation, quality education, and inclusive economic growth through innovative programs and strategic partnerships
"A healthy, educated, and empowered Tanzania where communities thrive in harmony with a sustainable environment."
This is the Tanzania we are building toward — one community at a time, one program at a time, one person at a time.
"To improve community health, promote environmental sustainability, enhance education, and empower individuals economically through innovative programs and inclusive initiatives across Tanzania."
